Encryptid is a boss-style public event where players summon and fight the Imposter Sheepsquatch — a dangerous modified Assaultron. The boss begins the fight invisible and protected, so players must activate nearby pylons before it can be damaged. An Assaultron recall keycard is required to start the event.

Overview
Walkthrough
- 1Go to the pylon ambush site and use the terminal to start the event. An Assaultron recall keycard is required.
- 2The Imposter Sheepsquatch arrives alongside waves of hostile robots — Protectrons, Mister Gutsies, and exploding Eyebombs.
- 3The boss starts invisible and invulnerable. To expose it, all three pylons around the arena must be activated.
- 4Activating a pylon makes you its conduit and deals constant damage to you while it stays active. Spread pylon activation across multiple players — stacking multiple pylons on one person is difficult to survive.
- 5Once all three pylons are active, the Imposter Sheepsquatch becomes visible and vulnerable. Focus fire on it immediately.
- 6If a conduit dies or a pylon deactivates, the boss turns invisible and protected again. Reactivate any downed pylons to restore vulnerability.
- 7The Imposter Sheepsquatch hits extremely hard with both laser and melee attacks. Maintain pylon pressure while dealing with robot adds.
- 8Defeat the Imposter Sheepsquatch before the timer expires to complete the event.
