The main objective is to keep the rad scrubber working while clearing the area of mutant food supplies. Completing the event awards Settlers faction reputation.

Walkthrough
- 1Listen to the distress broadcast from Kenneth Dean and head to the Foundation Outpost.
- 2Find the rad scrubber in the crater area and repair it to begin the main defense phase.
- 3Destroy the six meat bags hanging around the crater — look for them on posts throughout the irradiated pit.
- 4Once the meat bags are gone, waves of super mutants attack. Expect heavy resistance including suiciders and firestarters.
- 5Defend the rad scrubber until the timer runs out. If it breaks, the area becomes extremely radioactive — repair it immediately.
- 6Stay near the scrubber or check it often; enemies can slip through and damage it while you fight at spawn points.
- 7Survive the full super mutant assault to complete the event and earn Settlers faction reputation.
