How to Max Your Score

How to Max Your Score

Overview

The scoreboard progresses primarily through completing challenges. Understanding how the challenge system works — and how to time your boosters around it — is the most effective way to reach max score each season.

Challenges

Focus on Challenges

Completing challenges is the most efficient way to advance your score. Prioritize your weekly challenges over dailies, as they award more score per completion.

Rerolling for Epic Challenges

You get one free challenge reroll per day — two if you have Fallout First. Use these on your weekly challenges, not your dailies. Rerolling gives you a chance to land an Epic challenge, which awards significantly more score than a standard one.

Tip

Save your rerolls for weeklies. Daily challenges refresh on their own and aren't worth spending a reroll on.

Double Score Weekends

Double score weekends double the score you receive from all sources. Knowing when one is coming up lets you hold your unfinished weekly challenges and complete them during the event for double the reward.

Best case combination

Complete an Epic challenge during a double score weekend, with an active score booster and any percentage bonuses already claimed. This combination gives a significant single-session bump to your scoreboard progress.

Score Boosters

Using Score Boosters

Score boosters multiply the score you earn and last 24 hours. Always activate one when you plan to do a heavy challenge session.

Timing Your Boosters

Score boosters last 24 hours, and daily challenges refresh once per day. By activating your booster around the time you actually plan to play, you can cover two full sets of challenges within a single booster window — getting double the value without using a second booster.

Score Percentage Unlocks

As you progress through the scoreboard, you unlock score percentage increase rewards. Always claim these as soon as they're available — they permanently increase the score you earn for the rest of the season.

XP Contribution

You also receive a small amount of score each time you earn 10,000 XP. While challenges are the primary method, keeping your XP gain high in the background adds up over a season.
