How To Unlock Player Titles
Player Titles appear after your player name in Fallout 76 as a combined pair. A title is made up of a Prefix and a Suffix — together they form the title shown next to your name in-game. Once unlocked, prefixes and suffixes can be mixed and matched freely.
Player Titles can be unlocked by completing quests, events, challenges, raids, and season rewards. Some titles may also unlock retroactively if you already completed the required content before the title system was added.
Some event title rewards are added to your inventory as a note-style unlock item. To unlock those, open your Pip-Boy, go to the Notes tab, and read the title item.
To equip Player Titles, open your Pip-Boy, go to the STAT tab, then scroll to the Prefix and Suffix sections. Select one from each to build your combined title. Each slot is independent — you can equip just a prefix, just a suffix, or both together.
