Grunt Hunt is a repeatable bounty activity in Fallout 76, added with the Burning Springs update. It sends the player after a hostile outlaw target in the Burning Springs region.

Overview
How to Take a Bounty
Before taking Grunt Hunts, the player must speak with the Ghoul about starting bounty hunting.
After that, go to The Last Resortbar in Highway Town and take a bounty from the wanted poster pile on the table near the Ghoul. Taking a poster starts the Grunt Hunt and marks the outlaw's location on the map.
Objective
Travel to the marked location and defeat the outlaw target. The outlaw may be alone or near other hostile enemies.
Once the outlaw is killed, the Grunt Hunt is complete. Another bounty can be started by returning to the wanted poster pile at The Last Resort.
Outlaw Mutations
The outlaw may have one random mutation.

| Frosty Outlaw | Attacks can slow the player. |
| Healing Outlaw | Heals itself and nearby enemies. |
| Resilient Outlaw | Must be finished with a melee attack. |
| Stealthy Outlaw | Cloaked when not attacking. |
| Swift-Footed Outlaw | Moves faster. |
| Toxic Outlaw | Leaves toxic hazards after death. |
| Volatile Outlaw | Explodes on death. |

Wanted posters can be placed on a bounty board to start a Head Hunt public event without paying the normal cost.
