The Big Bloom is a spring-themed Fallout 76 event where players help Black-Eyed Susan harvest rare flowers in a dangerous, blossoming meadow. Set around Susan's Cabin, the event mixes flower gathering, creature combat, and chaotic environmental hazards as players fend off Overgrown enemies and face the giant bee boss Beezlebub as the finale of the event.
It is a limited-time seasonal event that rewards players with themed plans, decorations, and other spring-inspired items.
During The Big Bloom, players meet Black-Eyed Susan at her cabin, where the nearby meadow has filled with unusual flowers and dangerous creatures. Susan asks for help gathering blooms, but warns that she rigged the area with mines to protect herself from attacks.
You start the event by speaking with Susan and agreeing to assist. Your first task is to collect 30 of each flower type: crystalcups, radlilies, and carnal weepers. The flowers must be deposited into Susan's basket, located near the front porch of her cabin. Be careful while picking flowers — mines are scattered throughout the area and stepping too close will trigger an explosion.
As players gather flowers, Overgrown, honey beasts, and bloatflies will continue to spawn. After all required flowers have been turned in, Susan explains that the Overgrown need to be burned out. To progress, you must set 25 Overgrown on fire using flame-based weapons, fire damage effects, or the special weed killer. Despite the name, the weed killer is essentially a Molotov cocktail — these can be found in the boom box on the roof of Susan's cabin.
Once enough Overgrown have been burned, a disturbance appears in the meadow near the rock formation and Beezlebub, Giant Bee of Yore emerges. Defeat this giant honey beast boss to finish the event and receive your rewards.
